I was watching the snooker last night as Ali Carter knocked in the first competitive 147 of his career. Wow! Good for him. He seems a very down to earth lad, with a good sense of humour. Ronnie O’Sullivan, after his maximum of a couple of days ago, talked about buying a Bentley Convertible with the prize money. Ali Carter said that he was going to buy a Ford Focus Convertible.

This year is certainly seeing some top class snooker being played. I’ll be disappointed when it’s all over, although the family probably won’t! I’m not sure how much of the latter stages of the competition I’ll be able to see, because I’m away at the Baptist Assembly over the weekend. Perhaps I’ll record some of it, so that I can play endless hours of snooker when I get home, and continue to bore the folks at home.
